In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He inspires listeners to be their ancestors' wildest dreams, and to deepen connections.

Yash Vasandani is a student at the Canadian International School. A fifth-culture kid, Yash has grown up in a multicultural environment, blending influences from multiple cultures. With a unique identity that reflects his diverse experiences, Yash has a rich understanding of different worldviews. He implores listeners to dig deeper and learn from your ancestor's stories, so that we can collectively make the world a better, more peaceful place.
