TEDxUNIMED is the first independently organized TEDx event at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State, Nigeria.

With the theme "LIMITLESS," the event will spotlight bold ideas and inspiring stories from young innovators and changemakers. It aims to empower Nigerian youth to break boundaries, challenge norms, and create lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Bukola Aladesulu

Digital Inclusion Champion, Youth Leader, and Social Entrepreneur Teenovation & Upthrive Africa

Bukola Aladesulu is a global advocate for digital inclusion and youth development, and the President of Teenovation, a youth-led organization promoting quality education and digital literacy. She is also the founder of Upthrive, a pioneering career development hub and social enterprise. A Lagos State Youth Ambassador, Bukola is a Fellow of both the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) and the Management Institute of Finland. She has represented Nigeria in global platforms such as the Creative Business Cup and CWMUN, and serves as an Ilera Eko Champion under the Lagos State Ministry of Health. Recognized locally and internationally, Bukola is also a member of the Club of Emerging Leaders in Africa (CELA), with a vision to bridge the youth-skill-opportunity gap across Africa.

Chisom Mbama

Data Professional, Analytics Educator, and Convener BWP Community

Chisom is a data and analytics professional with 6+ years of experience, known for her passion for democratizing data through education and mentorship. Originally trained in Nursing, she successfully transitioned into data, working with global edtechs and international organizations. Her career spans analytics engineering (currently at Database Tycoon) and consulting (formerly at Brooklyn Data). She’s a two-time award winner and convener of the BWP community. Nicknamed the “SQL Queen,” she has taught over 3,000 students globally in data skills like SQL and BI, partnering with platforms like Utiva and Talstack. Chisom also enjoys cultural exploration and has hosted red carpet interviews, connecting with diverse audiences.

Dr Olorunfemi Ogundele

Medical Doctor, Public Health Expert, Child Health Epidemiologist

Dr. Olorunfemi Akinbode Ogundele is a physician, Associate Professor, and Child Health Epidemiologist at UNIMED, Ondo. He also serves as Chief Consultant at UNIMED Teaching Hospital, Acting Director of Academic Planning, and Coordinator of the Ford Foundation-supported SPARKLE Project. He earned his MB.ChB and MPH from OAU, where he also completed his residency and became a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians. He has received further training in vaccinology (South Korea) and public health evaluation. His work focuses on child health, vaccine-preventable diseases, and immunization strategies in low-resource settings. He co-developed Nigeria’s first National Youth Index and actively mentors emerging health professionals.

Jeiel Damina

Actress, Singer, Co- founder Neptune3 Studios

BIO: Jeiel Damina is a Nigerian singer, actress, and creative storyteller whose work bridges the worlds of music, screen, and self-discovery. Known for her emotionally resonant performances, Jeiel brings raw honesty and youthful depth to every medium she touches. She first gained prominence as an actress in the hit web series *Best Friends in the World* and has since then continued to captivate audiences with her ability to blend vulnerability and strength—on screen and through song in projects like *Guli*. Currently studying Creative Writing at Full Sail University, Jeiel is passionate about crafting stories that reflect personal growth and the complexity of human connection. Alongside her sisters, Jeiel is co-founder of film company Neptune3 Studios, which has amassed a great fanbase as they continue to craft stories dedicated to making art that feels like home for those learning to belong to themselves.

Motunrayo Oyedele

Creative Storyteller, and Renowed Photographer Founder, EduMinds Africa

Motunrayo Oyedele, popularly known as TheMotunGlobal, is a passionate creative blending photography, education, and politics. She currently serves as the Official Photographer to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, capturing key government moments with a storytelling lens. With degrees from FUOYE and the University of Ibadan, Motunrayo founded EduMinds Africa, a non-profit promoting quality education and climate action in line with the UN SDGs. Through school outreaches and cleanups, she mentors youth to lead sustainable change. Beyond the lens, she's a bold advocate for good governance and nation-building—driven by purpose, impact, and the vision of a better Nigeria.
