In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Larissa has been working as a para for two years and giving the children the love and support they need in order to grow into amazing adults and always aiming for them to chase their dreams and goals.

Nicole Starr Bauman, known as Coach Niki, is a U.S. military veteran with three combat deployments, now a trauma-informed life coach and international speaker. After a career-ending injury, she became a recognized expert in Combat PTSD and Compassion Fatigue, holding certifications from the Figley Institute, EFT Universe, and NICABM. Niki is the founder of The PTSD Retreat and has impacted over 20,000 lives through her global trauma recovery work. She currently studies Conservation Law and Environmental Science in New Hampshire, as an Elite Student holding a 3.54 GPA, where she also supports local arts and youth advocacy, through the Granite guild and Protect Us Kids Foundation. Passionate about resilience and transformation, Niki continues to inspire through service, education, and outdoor activities.
